WHAT IS PAINT CORRECTION?

Paint correction is a professional leveling and detailing process that safely removes swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, water spots, and deep surface imperfections from a vehicle’s paint or marine gelcoat. By safely machining away microscopic layers of clear coat, it restores the paint to its original surface clarity, depth, and mirror-like gloss.

WHAT IT CURES

Safely eliminates spiderweb swirl marks, light bush scratches, acid rain rings, bird chemical etches, stubborn marine dock oxidations, and watermark buildups.

THE CORE BENEFIT

Maximizes paint optic depth, dramatically increases resale value, generates complete high-gloss symmetry, and prepares a pristine bond-ready surface for multi-year Ceramic Coatings.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why is paint correction important?
It is essential for achieving a smooth, refined, showroom-quality finish by clearing defects that distort light reflections on your vehicle’s body. Without correction, scratches and swirls scatter incoming light in random angles, making paint look gray, faded, or flat. By leveling the surface, light bounces back directly to your eye, presenting a deep, flawless, saturated, mirror-like gloss.
Most paint correction services take between 2–6 hours, while vehicles with heavier imperfections or deep marine restoration needs may require more time to ensure proper results. Minor single-stage polishing can be done fast, but heavy multi-stage deep defect removal utilizes continuous passes requiring extreme machine patience to jewel out micro-marring perfectly.
Paint correction restores and refines the surface but does not provide long-term protection on its own. It essentially exposes the bare, raw, leveled clear coat. For best results, we recommend following up with ceramic coating or another protective treatment to help seal and preserve the restored finish from UV ray degradation, environmental contamination, and acid etching.
